I gasped, struggling to breathe as I fell through the door and onto the gold floor. My body buzzed with warm magic while lying on the ground. It was a right sort of pain, the type of tingling that left aches in all the right places. I was actually thankful for the gold floor as it was cold against my skin, soothing yet shocking me back into awareness. I looked up just as Bass fell next to me, slamming on to the ground with a thud.
My body was still on the high from the magic of their memories, my pulse thudding from the excitement. I closed my eyes, each of those moments seemed etched in my mind. I realized that I could conjure the scenes at will, smiling a bit when I saw flashes of my kiss with Luca, the quick fuck with Matt, and the crowd screaming Bassâs name.
I felt connected to each member of the Hex Coven in a way I hadnât expected. I knew their thoughts, their desires. I recognized their emotions and claimed them as my own. Traveling through their memories took years of their personality and embedded it into me, taking what would have taken a lifetime of getting to know them and shoving it into three hours. I looked up as Matt offered me a hand, and I let him pull me to my feet. He pulled me into a close hug, kissing the top of my head in a comforting way. I felt nervous after everything that happened between us, but the smirk on his lips suggested that he was nothing but proud and happy. Yeah, he definitely remembered.
"You okay?" he asked, and I nodded, rubbing my arms where I fell. The room had dropped in temperature and something felt...off.
âIâm guessing you remember?â I asked, making him smile as he slid his hand down the side of my arm teasingly slowly.
âI donât remember where we were...â he began before his voice went husky, âbut I remember being inside you. Filling you up as you bit my shoulder then screamed my name. You came so nicely on my cock. That I could never forget,â he said before laughing at my bright red cheeks, before pulling away and clapping his hands. âBut letâs go ahead and put that necklace together. Weâre ahead of schedule!â Matt let me go to shake Bass's shoulder, trying to wake him up as I pulled the chain out of my bra. Holding all the pieces together, I gasped as they shined a bright purple light before clicking together. Once the light was gone, I was left with a beautiful necklace in my palm.
The chain was silver, and on it hung a charm with three drop-down circles, each a different design. I carefully clipped the necklace around my neck, letting it fall behind the black fabric of my soaking wet dress and between my breasts which hid it well.
âThink you could spell me dry? I uh...kept getting caught in the storms,â I asked with a blush.
